I'm on a Leash!
Halloween 2006
I'm a bunny but I hate my head!
Tayla walked the neighborhood for the first time this year, but with her ears down. She really got the hang of asking for candy, nothing like a little incentive! It was so much fun seeing all the kids streaming through the streets, another reason we love our neighborhood!

The Famous Glockenspiel
This was the craziest location in the city(Munich) as both fans from Australia and Brazil were drinking and cheering before the big game. The world famous Glockenspiel was the focal point in the square. It is a big clock that goes off at certain hours with big people that come out and go around in circles like a big coo-coo clock. Those crazy Aussies!
Cruising again in Switzerland
Another beautiful day and another cruise. We had a fun time in Zurich, Switzerland and gorgeous weather! We found a Starbucks, a toy store, and a lovely waterside park this day. We took a short cruise around the lake, then Jenny and I met up with her boyfriend Jephta and his brother to watch another World Cup game at a roadside hotdog stand! Even roadside vendors had TV's set up to watch the games, so much fun! Tayla went back to the hotel with Grandma and Poppy with a quick stop at McDonalds! World Cup!!!

I still can't believe we went to the World Cup! It was crazy, football fans are a whole nother breed! It was so fun to be in the midst of all the chaos. Dad, Jenny and I were the only ones able to go since we found out Tayla had to have her own ticket to come. She and Grandma had to watch the game from the hotel room, but we made a nice profit on the unused ticket, and had a nice English guy end up in the seat. We got the inside scoop on the Beckhams plans to come to the U.S. way before it happened. Final score, England 1: Paraguay 0.

Easter!

Can you believe I'm actually posting? It's been a few months, but things are finally slowing down a bit. I got this picture from my mom recently from the Easter service at our church where we dedicated Tayla. The majority of Darik's extended family was able to come and my parents were there, too. It was really fun to have everyone there for such a blessed event. Plus, Tayla was just adorable!!!

Twins at 9+ weeks

This is my 9 week ultrasound, twin "A" on the right measures at 9 weeks 2 days and twin "B" measures at 9 weeks. I guess this is common for them to measure a few days apart throughout the pregnancy. I got to see both hearts beating and both babies moved for me as well, so fun!
Here's my latest pregnancy gripe:
Why do all the pills you have to take during pregnancy (prenatals, iron, calcium, etc.) also cause nausea? As if just being nauseous directly from pregnancy isn't enough! I think it's just plain mean.

Our New House
Here's a pic of our new digs out in Monroe. Darik is now looking at a 40+ min. drive to Seattle but with house prices forcing us young families out to the burbs we gotta' do what we gotta' do! Kindof crazy that we can't afford a house in the city Darik police's for... Anyway, we love the house and there is plenty of room to grow in, although with the two babies on the way we will be growing fast! We move in June 15th, and then those of you close enough by can come join us for a housewarming BBQ! I can't put our address on the website for obvious security reason's but I'll send it out soon.

Girls Night Out!

Some of the women from out church got together to have a girls night out of dinner and a movie. I had to skip out on the movie since Tuesday nights are my American Idol night with BFF Jenny. They went and saw that Owen Wilson/Sarah Jessica Parker flic anyway, so I think I got the best part of the night! This was the second girls night out dinner that I ended up knowing the waitress from high school, weird and slightly uncomfortable.
My slide!

Tayla got a slide for her birthday that she can now go up and down all by herself! Her Auntie Beth and I took our girls to the Pacific Science Center this week and what was the only thing that amused Tayla?... A slide! Not the Pony Ride, not touching sea urchins and crabs, not looking at the reptile zoo, or huge dinasours moving around, but the teeny little toddler slide was endless entertainment! I'll be thinking twice next time I want to go pay $8 parking and $10 entrance fee to have my daughter play on a slide!
Happy Birthday Tayla (2 months late)
Brrr!

Ahh, it's been so long! Life has been too mundane to post...Darik's at academy, I'm hanging out with Tayla and working a few hours here and there...Why does something have to happen in order to feel like I should post something? Anyway, here's Tayla all bundled up for a cold winter weekend at the cabin in January.
